The Turner family are embedded in the arboriculture industry, with their business, Professional Tree Surgeons (PTS), having a history spanning three generations and more than 70 years.
Duncraig parents of three, Royce and Jennifer Turner (who is also a St Stephen’s School alumni) run the company, which is driven by a passion for the health and wellbeing of trees.
The PTS team are well versed and educated in all aspects of arboriculture including consulting, pruning, hedging, removal, stump removal, power line clearance, tree health care, planting, mulching and more. Yet, long gone are the days of simple chainsaw skills, the team passionate about the preservation and enhancement of trees in the urban environment.
Royce’s Dad, Murray, started the business in 1967 and after working in the business since he was 15, Royce took over the reins when Murray retired in 2005.
Royce has extensive arboriculture qualifications and experience throughout Australia, the UK, Europe and America and is a skilled craftsman. He is also the Vice President of the Tree Guild of WA.
With most of their work coming from repeat and referral clients, they stand by their values and professional service.
