What is the purpose of the Parent Business Directory?

The Parent Business Directory is a members-only directory, like a community-based Yellow Pages, where parents can access the business details of other parent-owned businesses.

The St Stephen’s School community includes many highly-skilled parents covering a large range of business interests. We want to share the benefits of working with local and like-minded people and supporting our community.

How is the exclusivity of the Parent Business Directory maintained for current parents of the School?

As part of the registration process, the School administrators receive an email notification when someone has registered for access. The details are then checked against the School’s database to ensure they are a current parent of the School and then a temporary password is forwarded on for them to complete the sign-up process and gain access to the directory.

As this check is done manually to ensure the exclusive access, the password may not be sent straight away. However, if you do not receive your password within 48 hours (weekends excluded) please contact us.

How does the registration process work?

Parents can login to simply browse the directory listings, or list their workplace or business on the directory.

Please note, on the registration form, the email address entered will be the address that any correspondence from our community members will go to, so be sure to enter your preferred contact email regarding Parent Business Directory enquiries.

After filling in the registration form, you will receive a password via email once the School has verified your details as a parent.

Once granted access, you will have full access to search businesses by industry, on a map or by parents’ names and engage the business services of fellow parents at St Stephen’s School.

How is information on the Directory stored and managed?

As part of the School’s agreement with the web provider, the information gathered on the site is stored on the Google Cloud, which provides data storage services based in Sydney, Australia. The data is completely confidential and is not shared with third parties. The Privacy Policy can be viewed by following the link in the footer.

How is the information on the Directory kept up to date?

The parents have full access to update their profiles anytime, making sure their information if kept up-to-date. 

What if I forget my password?

Simply click on the Forgot Password link on the Log In page or Contact Us and we are more than happy to help. 

How do I know if the parent or business I am using from the directory offers quality work and service?

The Parent Business Directory is simply providing a tool to connect with fellow parents and business owners. We recommend you get in touch with the company, do your research and find the right fit for your needs. Please be sure to read the Terms & Conditions on the registration page of the site as the School cannot certify standards or service.
