Class of 2008 Duncraig and winner of the John Allen-Williams music award at St Stephens, Sam has gone on to a 10 year career as a performing artist and music educator, specialising in Jazz, Contemporary and Commercial music. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the WA Academy of Performing Arts and is currently studying Postgraduate Master of Teaching (Secondary).
As part of a more extensive list, some notable performances are:
-Over 30 Musical Theatre productions, including professional tours of ‘GREASE! (Is The Word)’ and ‘Jersey Boys’ as well as accompanying orchestras for Faith Prince, Anthony Warlow and Hugh Jackman.
-Multiple national and international tours with the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra, Junkadelic Brass Band and The Brow
-9 years varying residencies at The Aviary Perth, as a musician and DJ
-4 Years as resident DJ and Announcer for the (Australian Volleyball League) in WA, and 3 years for the AVL Finals in Melbourne and Gold Coast
As an educator, Sam has taught Trumpet, Bass Guitar, Ensembles and Composition at a number of schools, including St Stephens (Both campuses). Others include:

Sam is available as a performer and educator in various roles including all performance environments and private tuition.
